Attract with Great Content
Content marketing is the process of creating high-quality, valuable content to attract, inform, and engage an audience, while also promoting the brand itself. Content marketing has the ability to:
- Increase brand awareness: As prospects and buyers browse the web for answers to their questions and solutions for their problems, your brand continues to pop up.
- Increase brand preference: Content marketing helps to further establish your brand as a thought leader in your industry, which strengthens relationships with buyers.
- Greater reach at lower cost: Over time, a library of great content will continue to reach more qualified leads and interested buyers.
Here are some samples of content marketing I have produced for clients:
IT Services Podcast Series
Dell Services was looking to further educate their salesforce on IT offerings within specific lines of business. Fun and informative, the podcast series was well received as an great way to learn about new services when traveling to meet prospects and customers. In-house experts on the featured offering spoke on the IT issues each service helped to resolve for customers.
E-Book on Intervention
Intervention for struggling students is a big topic within the world of K-12 education. This Istation thought leadership e-book was written with a forward-thinking lean to what intervention once was, and what is being adopted by institutions today. The highest lead generation e-book in Istation's history, the company's customer base learned more about trends in intervention while connecting with the Istation brand.
RFP Response Video
I conceptualized and oversaw production of several RFP response videos with Dell Services, including one which helped win a multi-million dollar contract with the Coca-Cola Corporation: “We personalized the highly-formal vetting process by showing the people behind the words. The pursuit team created a custom video tying in their GTM Strategy with Coca-Cola "Free Style" with our vision for EUC [End User Computing] services.” –One Dell Way (Dell’s company blog)
How-To Content
Based on market research, it was clear English Language Learning instructors and schools were in need of bilingual resources for their classrooms. In collaboration with Texas' 2017 Bilingual Teacher of the Year, a suite of content (podcast, video, how-to print out, and blog) about how to access teacher resources with Istation and use them for small group instruction were produced.
FB Live Product Showcase
Looking to increase sales knowledge and well as customer engagement regarding Istation's product line, an omni-channel marketing experience was conceptualized and executed within three weeks time. With both physical and digital touch points, product knowledge was presented in a fun and unique way as an in-person company event and FB Live broadcast for customers and outside sales. The event resulted in 412 FB Page Likes in one week, and a survey score of 9/10 from company staff as beneficial for product knowledge.
The Red Cape Origin Story
Istation's logo being a child wearing a red cape had no backstory. A story to educate about the brand was created! A short comic book entitled The Red Cape written by myself and Emmy award-winning artist, Dan Kuenster. The comic tells the story of a boy who struggles with reading aloud, and because of it is tormented by his classmates. His teacher creates a red cape to give him the determination to succeed, and ultimately bring to light the abilities he had within.
